  Power Applications

Procal Analyties make a range of stack gas analysers to meet the continuous emission monitoring (CEM) requirements of fossil fuelled power stations. The analysers are in situ and can be automatically zero and calibrated to ensure compliance with local Environmental Agency requirements. For example - US EPA 4OCFR Part 60 and 75. The instruments are capable of monitoring, simultaneously, up to six components

Range 1: 20ppm, NO
Range 2: 20ppm, N02
Range 3: 20ppm, S02.

Coal Fired Power Station (Ammonia slip)

Procal 5000:
Range 1: 20ppm, NH3
Range 2: 50ppm, NO
Range 3: 50ppm, N02

  Other components typically measured in power stations include hydrocarbons and NO2. The examples above are of our continuous emission monitoring (CEM) analysers. The instruments will be calibrated to our customer's requirements, therefore the selection and ranges of the components to be measured will be dependent on the customers requirements.
